The way things are going in my life right now I wont kill an Elk unless one escapes off a high fence and roams through my set up while Im looking for WT lol.

Sorry it took so long, had to go back and reread it.Congratulations to you both, and that's shot of the decade,so far.I killed a big whitetail several years back like that, the shot was unnerving but it worked great.Yall r eating elk for the rest of the year and most of nxt I'd guess. Thanks for sharing and I think u could submit it to petersons,or another trade publication.

Congratulations again Bobby and Curt! What a hunt!! I'd have loved to have been there just to film the hunt! I've never shared a camp/hunt with Curt before, but Bobby, you and I have shared many fantastic hunts, and even that infamous bowfishing trip that started your KCA journey... This has to top them all!! Y'all dun gooood!!

Finally found time to read the post, didn't want to rush through it yesterday knowing it was going to be entertaining. You did not disappoint. Like most mental midgets with very short attention spans I first looked at the pictures (amazed you could post 35 of them when someone selling a $30K truck cant figure out how to post 1) then watched the videos. 1st video you seemed very oh wellish, 2nd video started and I'm thinking this guy never gets excited, then you got to the elk. I didn't cry with you, but deep down I wanted too. Congrats on leaving the Chew luck at home and using the Minchew luck this trip.

Congrats on achieving your goal on a dandy bull. Hunting Elk w a bow can really rattle your nerves & stir your soul like no other animal.
                          Well done.
