Any panhandle successes from the previous weekend? Lots more hunters in the field and likely pushing deer around a bit more. Bucks also seem to be pushing does around pretty hard now based on what I'm seeing on camera. Seems a bit early too.

        That muley is awesome.

Shot the doe right under me quartering away last Wednesday, got a hog that day also.

Got the buck Saturday. Plenty of activity, no bucks chasing. Dickens Co.

Any recent activity? Bucks rutting hard yet? I missed the first two weeks/weekends but will finally get some time in behind the glass this weekend and weekend after thanksgiving.

my cellular cams aren’t showing me much, does and fawns coming in like usual.
my target buck did come in opening weekend, he’s already busted 15-20” off his frame.

Hey all - will also be joining the coming weekend throughout the rest of season in Hardeman County. Excited to get out and see some improvement after last year. Fingers crossed.

I was able to spend about a day and a half at the ranch this past weekend and only saw young bucks pestering the crap out of the does. My target buck was a no show, and don't think I saw a mature doe either. Pretty strange weekend.

Beginning muley hunter here. Had forgotten about this friend's property and wondered what the green screen
thought before I make a half-day drive for a "windshield review".
One mile below Caprock. Floyd County, near Quitaque, Tx.
Relatively open parcel bisected by treeless, undulating hill which spurs from the Caprock. Agriculture nearby. Cover nearby.
Water's "around". Reservations because it looks, well, open.
Any thoughts? Muleys following hill as corridor to low, open country with crops?
Bed in thick stuff? Enough cover to hide deer or plan for twilight movement?
I know muleys are different and I'll have to adjust, but like the old adage says,
                            the openness discourages me.
                            Thanks and I'll bump periodically..

Parcel is roughly a half section..

Yea I would bet there will be deer on that property.
I hunted close to Turkey TX and I would see muleys bed in open wheat fields all the time. They like wide open land with elevation change, scattered brush and or brushy draws. Bet they are there.
