what height is your protein feeder tubes to the ground

i've been looking at mine and I think mine are too high. How high from the ground to the feed port.

My deer are a bit larger then hill country size.

38 to 40 inches to the bottom of the tube is a great height for deer. Harder for Coons to reach, but the big ones can. fawns will struggle a bit, but will eat what falls out..

I had mine at 48 and it was too high really for the whitetail but the axis loved it lol, I lowered to 42 and it seems good now

Ours are set at 40". Keeps the coons from standing on the ground and pawing all the food out at once. At least at that height they have to jump up and work for it.

I have built all of mine at 42". It's just a natural height for them. They feel safer when they don't have to bend to eat. Mama will rake feed out for the little ones too. Plus it's a little to tall for the coons and shorter pigs.

Whatever height Lamco makes them. I guess I need to measure because I really don't know.
