Ended the season using open sight 30-30

First of all, I'm sorry for the poor picture quality. I was using the self timer and it focused on the grass instead of the deer.

I used my old Marlin 1893 30-30, which my dad gave me a few years back, on this spike New Years Eve morning at 77 yards open sights. Seeing as with each year the front sights are getting harder and harder to see, I thought I did pretty good. He dropped in his tracks.

Congrats, but like you said it gets harder and harder to see the sights every year. I used to be very good open sight with the old 30/30 when I was younger out to 150 yards now any thing past 50 is a crap shoot.

Congrats. I love an open sight 30-30. I would like to unload on a pack of pigs with mine soon.

Congrats my open 30-30 is my go to gun if I'm hunting in woods and its never let me down. Dropped my only pig in the 300#class in its tracks with it at about 40 yards...great guns. Congrats on the kill with it
