I havent had a chance to hunt this year and its been killing me seeing all these people post pictures of the deer they have been getting. well i leave tomorrow morning in hopes of bagging a venison. Cant wait!!

Well the cherry got popped on the T/C

I did manage a small doe with my pistol. what a hoot it is to hunt with that. gotta change the 55gr gamekings out for some Barnes bullets though. the shot was a little high and she didnt bleed at all. but i was so happy to get a doe, even though she was smaller. i saw a nice 8 but just couldnt take the shot cause he was on the border of 13" it looked like. would have been a nice deer for Lavaca Co. though. seemed like the few deer i saw were very spooky and very shy. guess cause it was the last of the year.
