Hey guys....silly question. When putting in for a new mexico draw, can you put in for multiple units? If so, what fees do you pay for each unit you put in for? Thanks.

Yes, you can put in for 3 choices. You can only draw one tag, so you pay for the tag and license up front with some admin fees. You can get the tag and license fees back if you don't draw.

Thanks. So if I have a buddy that wants to apply with me....do we apply separately and list each other's names or one application with both name?

Also...when does the draw application process usually open up for the next season?

I think one application with both names. 99% sure. I haven't applied yet, just done a bunch of research. Some buddies of mine applied as a group last year and they just sent one app.

This and think you get charged for a quality tag instead of standard if you have both hunts on your app, but if you don't draw a quality but do draw standard, difference is refunded.

NM will also refund To CC unlike CO that still lives in the dark ages of live checks(and more interest in their pockets)

It lets you choose 3 different hunts/units. If it's a guided hunt it only lets you choose one outfitter for the refund. What if you are putting in for 3 different units and will use different outfitters for each unit, depending on what hunt you get drawn for? Or is that too complicated....I need to find an outfitter that does hunts in more than one unit and only use them?
