Anyone seen any rut activity going on? I was hunting this week in sabine county and didn't see anything to speak of other than some ground scraps and nocturnal bucks. Anyone got some news?

Good I'm not to far from there and had to miss this weekend do to recovery from surgery on Thursday, I was worried I might be missing an important weekend but it sounds as tho Im better off missing this weekend than next. Makes me feel better about sitting around the house being lazy this morning instead if being in the woods.

i saw 3 books following a pair of doe on monday. it was a parade! that's all i've seen though. heck, i can't even find any rubs and the only scrapes i've seen are the ones i've made !Comment
