Headed to Georgtown wednsday and hunting until sunday. Just wondering about the deer movement and how the hunting has been? Heard a good front is coming in this week just was kinda wondering what to expect? I hunt off of 29 by the cimmaron hills golf course. If anybodies in that area this weekend maybe we could grab a bite to eat or something.

They are moving. The acorns just hit the ground this weekend though, and the moon isnt helping. I will be out tonight at the lake. -

Moon was killing us as far a daytime movement is concerned in Eastern Williamson last weekend. Older bucks are starting to move though. Getting more and more buck pics on trail cam.Comment

I hunt a few miles west of you out on the river. I will probably be out there this weekend. I hunted pretty hard this last weekend. The mornings were VERY slow with deer not moving until around 10. The evenings were better with movement after 6. I saw quite a few turkeys, does and heard a little sparring in the distance. I'm going to hunt wed or thurs eve and at least one day this weekend.Comment

Did not see a deer on stand yesterday afternoon. Was in stand at 4:45. Fat acorns falling out of the tree. It was windy also.Comment

I saw a teal Chevy extended cab parked over on the Corp prop near the dam this AM. Any luck? I was thinking about going out to my place this eve even though the wind will be a little strong.Comment
