I haven't checked in in far to long, but I'm glad to see positive messages every time I see Macie at the top of my timeline.

Well we passed our first "scare".

The feeding tube has a "ballon" that inflates just under the skin to hold it in place. Apparently it has deflated. So the port has come out. It's a new type of tube and they told us if it comes out to put gauze over it and get to ER. So with the help of 3 awesome teenagers Tyler, Harley and Maddison we were out the door in 14 min. Macie loaded, wheel chair loaded, bag in car, meds packed. No one panicked and it seemed like everyone knew exactly what they were suppose to do. Even to dogs laid down out of the way. . Car even had gas in it. Lol.

We were headed to the Med Center down town but our main nurse called the Dr and he said just go to Memorial City.

Yes even out nurse, who is off at home with her family, made the calls and talked with the dr.

We are so blessed! Thank you Lord.

If there are any architects here and you are designing a hospital, especially a children's hospital, make the ER rooms big enough for the patient and both parents plus the Dr's!

Y'all will love this. They are going to pull the GJ tube out and put a G back in. It's the easiest and quickest. BUT. they don't have a G. So I'm on my way to the house to get one. .

Made it back. Tube has been replaced. Waiting for X-ray to make sure everything is where it's suppose to be.
