      I mostly due it to get good game cam pics. They also love the alfalfa bales!

        Generally by November, where I hunt, beans have been harvested, and if we're lucky, corn has been harvested but stubble and beanstems remain.
        There's alot more to corn stubble than soybean stems.

          Well in the past 5 years that I have been hunting this place, my uncle (the farmer) rotates corn and beans every other year throughout the three fields. This is the corn year on my favorite field. The thing is, I can assure you, this is the mother load of all bumper crop years! They typically harvest the corn the week before thanksgiving depending on the weather. In the past, when one field had corn that wasn't harvested and the beans were harvested, the deer would hang out in the corn but feed on the beans. Caught them moving in between.
          I am anxious to see the game cam pics as this is the first year that I made it a point to get a tc up there and not rely on others. just sayin.

            Dont burn up out there. My buddy in Witchita says 103 has been the norm for them over the last week or so. Crazy stuff..........i am gonna wait until mid September before I make that trip to Oz!
