How about the Dominican Republic in general?

I went exactly five years ago. Stayed at a Sandals or Secrets resort. The resort was great with plenty to do and good eating. But we did not get out in the countryside, which seemed pretty rugged. The roads are so narrow and hilly from the airport to the resorts that it was the only time I have ever been carsick.

Mybro-in-law has been several times. All inclusive and did alot of scuba-diving, drinking, more diving and more drinking.
