    Malkoff Devices, Flashlights, Use one??

Anyone use any of the flashlight upgrades from Malkoff Devices?
I was doing some searching on flashlights, and found them. I came across candlepowerforums.com and they raved about the worksmanship and quality.

Specifically, I'm interested in the upgrade for the 3-D Maglite. 6+ hours of 230 OTL lumens. Wouldn't mind the larger light for jobs around camp, tracking deer, etc. I have a few smaller lithium powered lights.

(OTL = out the front, supposedly a more accurate, measured value rather than an inflated manufacturer's claim, I just read this while searching)

not an answer to your specific question ...but I use several drop in LED conversions from TerraLux nightly and am very impressed. I think they offer a 600 lumen drop in for a maglight (check ebay)

I have an Elzetta with a Malkoff in it and a Malkoff drop in for one of my Surefires. They are impressive to say the least.

thanks for the responses, anyone else?

I think I'm done w surefires. I've had 2 high dollar surefires. The C3 is the least dependable light I own, can't get through a weekend on a set of batteries. I plan to call them, I don't remember battery life being that short when I got it. THiknk there could be a short of some kind?

Keep the comments coming on the Malkoffs, thanks!

I have a Malkoff in a 9p. Battery life is decent but power output is excellent.
