This is a new TPWD project. I haven't heard of it before and just got the email. You can set an email notification as a reminder if you want to tune in.
TPWD trying something new with “Ask an Expert”
In a continuing effort to better use social media to communication with the people of Texas, TPWD will be plowing new ground this week with its first-ever online Q&A with hunters. Folks unsure about a game law or looking for deer hunting tips are invited to join the live “Ask an Expert” session from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday. Representatives from the Law Enforcement and Wildlife Divisions will be on hand at Headquarters to field questions two days before the beginning of deer season in much of the state.
Please help us spread the word to our constituents to join the conversation at http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/askanexpert/fallhunt2010/ There is no sign-in required to participate and even if you don’t have a question, you are welcome to “listen in” as the experts share their knowledge about Texas hunting.
