not READY that is for opening weekend? I recieved permission last week to fill some mld doe tags on a ranch, so this week I have to build three blinds to take down there. I also have to get all my hunting cloths together and washed, which is a big task trying to keep them scent free. Not to mention, I havent even bought my darn license yet! Anybody else not entirely ready?

Nope... got my license the day they were available and am ready with by Parker bow and last weekend sighted in Remmie and ready for gun season... i bet you can still make it all happen...

i just got permission to hunt a spot about 5 minutes from my house. i am setting up my stand thursday. i am going out of town this weekend so i will not hunt it for another week.

There is no doubt Ill make it happen. I dont think you can motivate a man more then telling him deer season is just around the corner. Its just sometimes I wish I wouldnt wait till the last minute.

I did three work weekends at the lease so far this year...no more work, just hunt from here on.
Did all the get ready stuff a couple of weeks ago. Can't make it this opening weekend, but next weekend all I have to do is load the coolers, put the 2 rubbermaid crates/2 bows/block target in the truck, and go.

Got my SuperCombo before opening weekend of dove season.

I'm beyond ready but my lease and weather not. With all the rain on coast the last three weeks my lease has about 6 inches to a foot of water across the entire place and IT DOES NOT DRAIN OFF. It will be mid december before its dry enough to get in there.

I was ... until I decided last week to change my arrows. I was shooting Goldtip's and decided to change to FMJ's. I just started tuning last night and am not quite there yet. I need a few more days. Boy, those things sure do pack a wallop!

im not even close, havent got my license or anything pack. heck i will be in the blind sat morning but i wont even have my bow with me. my wrist still isnt totally ready for me to shot, and neither is my mind.
