Silverado 04 ?

I had mine replaced twice before it was right. Best I can remember factory recall on '04 silverados and Tahoes. First and second time on Silverado on their dime . First time on Tahoe on their dime and second time I paid for labor only. The vendor warantied their part. Google it ! I think it was up to 70,00 miles.

I was quoted 480 plus labor seems like overkill to me?

That sounds like a dealer price -- when you verify it is the instrument cluster -- send it to these guys to have it repaired.

guys. The speedometer works just fine. No problems at all. the gauges all work. The dimmer switch even toggles the lights on and off.
