Do you use a rattle bag?

If so, what brand has proven effective for you? Thanks.

No, been married for 42 years, but she will not go hunting with me.

I have used them before, I don't really like the way they sound. I used my real horns to rattle.

I have a rattle bag from Primos and I have rattled up a lot of bucks with it. I have rattled up deer from spikes to 6 points, so nothing big; but you can't eat them horns anyway. I don't think a deer during the rut cares much about the tone of the horns; he just wants to watch the fight.

B Randell, I enjoyed your reply. That was funny!

I carry one (hunter's specialties) mainly because it's easier than dragging along a set of horns. I've had some success with it but IMO nothing compares to the real thing.

Always use real horns, they just sound better. I am tempted to get a Rack Master, I think, the new deal that they have out. I tried it at the store, and it sounds pretty good.

I'd like to find one that sounds good, too, for ease of use in a tree. I haven't tried but a couple and they "sounded" okay, but would sure like to hear from those that believe they've found a good sounding one and maybe bucks have responded to.

Used the Primos rattle bag before and it sounded okay. Never drew anything in other than a couple of small bucks but I got the same results using real horns.

                        That's funny right there!

I have used them, and had good results and success. I have the one that came in the package with my True Talker. I like them for the ease of carrying. And have rattled in a dozen or so bucks in the last season or two.

I use regular old horns mostly. I got the Pack Rack last year by Knight & Hale and it works great!!! To me it sounds more like the real thing than the bag.

                            Haha!

Sounds good, I may go with the Primos. I've had luck with horns, but also been busted while rattling from the movement.
