take a bunch of l-arginine and some creatine you can have the same affect for a lot cheaper. I've never bought into the NO Xplode hype, BSN is a horrible supplement company and notorious for marketing products that don't do a darn thing.

totally agree Rhendrix....they have a few good things but ARE VERY OVERPRICED!!!! I got explode for under what some companies buy it for. Less then 30. So cant go wrong for a month supply of getting you pumped/waking up to workout. Syntha 6 is one of the best tasting proteins I have tried but way too expensive for me. the caffeine/creatine are the only things no explode are used for. It will put 5 lbs on u(mostly water weight) and will also get u going to workout(caffeine) but that will eventually wear off. and yes the l arginine will give you the NO results

here are the guidelines. I was a little off.
20 g / d for 5 - 7 days ("loading phase")
5 g / d for remainder of cycle ("maintenance phase")
A more customized approach is to determine dose based on mass. A common formula is:
0.3 g / kg / d for 5 - 7 days
0.03 g / kg / d for remainder of cycle
Bodybuilding.com has some AWESOME articles on anything from supplements, working out, diet, sleep, overal health, cardiovascular exercise, and anythign in between. Just spend some free time looking over it all, you will gain alot of knowledge and it will become fun to u to workout again.

there is no "load phase" for No Ex and there is no daily requirement
I like that.
Creatine Monohydrate works to pick up inorganic phosphate in glycolosis and works for me to some extent but I'm more interested in the vasodilation (which I assume comes from the l-argenine). I don't want to try and replicate the formula for No-Ex just to save a few $. I'm not that motivated or short on cash.

Leg, last time I tried to look into l-arginine I think the max dosage is 9 grams a day for a healthy male, and you can always use creatine ethyl ester instead of creatine monohydrate, it has a better absorption rate than monohydrate but there are studies that show that it might not be as effective as monohydrate, I've always bought just plain ol' monohydrate because it's cheap and works.

have you tried No-Ex and compared it to the l-arginine / creatine home brew?
I get the part that you don't like BSN and over priced supplement formulations... and I'm on board with that. I'm just wondering how a do-it-yourself approach stacks up. If you can convince me, I'm not against trying it... it's just that No-Ex has worked so well for me. My fitnesss career has spanned three decades and includes a masters in Exercise Physiology from UT Austin and certifications from both the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association... but yes, you can teach an old dog new tricks so I'm interested in a comparison.

To me it seems to work best with no food in your stomach and DEFINITELY DO NOT DO CARDIO WHILE ON THIS!!!!!!! If you got any questions let me know. If you want to do cardio do it first as a cardio session/general warm up to get the blood flowing and then workout.
