    Lubbock Praise Reports Continue!

The latest report from Lubbock is tremendous. Have a read for yourself!

    Subject: Spoke with Becky!

Hi, All! I just have to tell you that when I called her room, I spoke with Becky, herself. How wonderful to hear her voice! We talked of the mighty things that God has done in her life. Some of the doctors don't understand how she has gotten to where she is now. For instance, how the white cell counts came down daily, how the bleeding stopped overnight, etc. Those are things for which we prayed specifically and God answered our prayers.

Becky recognizes the intelligence, skill, and training of the doctors, but has also seen some confusion as to how some of these things have occurred. She said that if God used her to call attention to Himself and His powers, she is happy to have been a part of it. She also said that if she has to live with dialysis, that it was doable!

However, the kidney doctor told her that they had started to function when the internal bleeding got so bad and he has since re-looked the 4-week time-line and is beginning it again with when the bleeding stopped (3-18). SO, please join me in continuing to pray for kidney function to resume. Also, that the insurance company responds quickly with authorization to transfer her to the rehabilitation floor.

She had walked down the hall today, 3 times further than yesterday! Mark had gone to buy her some clothes; she must be fully dressed for occupational/physical therapy. We decided she could wear whatever he brought her (being a man, that could be "iffy"); fashion and fit can come later.

People, this young lady has been at death's door (one foot inside, according to the surgeon) and yet she has never lost her faith, nor her sense of humor. She truly is one of God's great witnesses. I stand in awe of her. I am filled with joy and enthusiasm at what He has done for her and for us. I do not have the words to express what I feel. It is a humbling and awesome experience to watch, up close, what God can do.

Thank you all, again, for praying for our Becky. Bye for now...Claudia
