There was a ton of chatter in their FB group, looked like a huge demand. If you didn't get in and want to I would check back later, in years past it seemed like additional spots would always open up. We are just sticking to SA this year.

Figured Saturday would be the highest demand
Fee covers the day so whatever you can squeeze in after your first round is bonus
I have shot 3D but mostly on flat ground, going to be fun to simulate mountain type shots

Happy shooting today fellas. May your arrows fly true and not into trees, rocks, and the great beyond, although some likely will.😀 i prefer Beavers Bend even over the CO course, although that changed locations this year.Son and I are driving up today to shoot Sat and Sun. Ya'll were lucky on registration. I clicked the instant it opened and got a popup placing me 853 in line. Best I ended up with were 12:30 start times.

We were talking on the ride home about wishing we had started a route to track how far and how much elevation change we made
Was a real good cardio workout
I think there was 1 target under 40yds (that I remember) and it was at a 45deg angle up hill. That is the one I vaporized an arrow on, saw it hit a rock and turn into a wisp of cloud. Didn't even bother looking to see if any of it was salvageable
Shot at a deer target at a little over 50yds that was under a hill where you could only see about 1/2 of the body. Every one of us in the group missed it, either right over or somehow under it. Maybe the very next target was a coyote or fox in front of a mudhole and roughly the same distance. We all put arrows in the scoring rings. We all laughed at how we could hit a smaller target at the same distance

Shot Lacrosse on Saturday and BeeReal on Sunday.... fun event, great weather. I think the deer target under the hill was on Bee Real.... I hit it high... I think to get in the scoring rings you almost had to have your pin in the dirt at 28 ydsI saw someone post their OnX track on a few of the courses... I think the ones they posted were 2.5-3.0 mi and 500-600 ft of elevation gain.
I watched a guy on the 111 yd Caribou shot for the Truck raffle put 4 out of 14 shots in the ring... that was impressive.... I hit the target all 11 times, 1 in the 10 ring, and 3 just outside, but no raffle ticket for me... haha
I only ruined one arrow and that was in the re-bar or whatever is in the spine of a mule deer.
